We build to the same D1.1 standard whether the job is a mezzanine in a packing house or a beam in a commercial building, because a certified welding inspector does not care what the building holds.

The Florida Strawberry Festival grounds bring a seasonal rush of their own. Gates, fence line, railing, stage framing, bleacher hardware and vendor equipment all take a beating from a few hundred thousand visitors and then sit in Florida humidity for eleven months. We do a steady trade in repairing and re-coating that steel before it goes back into service, and in fabricating replacement sections when repair stops being sensible.

The I-4 corridor is the other constant. Plant City sits between Tampa and Lakeland on one of the hardest-worked stretches of interstate in the state, and everything that gets hauled along it eventually needs a weld. Equipment trailers coming off the exits at Park Road and Branch Forbes arrive here with cracked tongue gussets, sheared spring hangers and ramp gates that have been folded the wrong way. We keep trailer stock on the rack specifically so that work can turn around in days rather than weeks.
